Forget everything you think you know about traditional bluegrass.
High Horse delivers a live show that’s energetic, adventurous, and impossible to sit still through. Blending rich vocal harmonies, masterful string playing, and influences that stretch well beyond bluegrass, they create a sound that’s both rooted in tradition and unmistakably their own.
Their passion for the craft is matched by years of musical training, with members who have studied at Berklee College of Music, Oberlin Conservatory, and the New England Conservatory.
Kat Wallace is a Boston-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Known for her fiddle playing in Rachel Sumner and Traveling Light and Forysth, she’s always writing new songs on her trusty 1964 Harmony tenor guitar. Her debut album “Grand Design” marks a new chapter for Wallace, showcasing her Americana influences from legendary songwriters like Gillian Welch and John Prine, as well as centuries-old Celtic and English balladry.
High Horse and Kat Wallace promise an evening of exceptional talent, infectious energy and an unforgettable performance.
Join us at ICON for a night of incredible musicianship, great company, and music that celebrates tradition while carving out a sound all its own.
